Terms of Use

1. Who we are

nobody. (also written "NOBODY") is a conversation application for adults operated by the seller shown on its App Store page ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines and our Child Safety Standards. If you do not agree, do not use nobody.

2. You must be 18 or older

nobody. is for adults only. You may use the app only if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract where you live. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the service. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it and delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. What nobody. is

The World — public text rooms by country or region.
One-to-one — a private text chat you ask for with someone you met in a room. It opens only if they accept, and either side may leave at any time.
Trusted — paid private chat sessions with the host, by text or voice messages, live or by appointment. This is a non-therapeutic chat service. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, medical care, legal advice or an emergency service. Hosts are not licensed healthcare professionals acting in that capacity. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number immediately.
Plus — a paid subscription that opens the rooms, private chats and Trusted sessions. Your account, support and these terms stay available without it.

Your account is identified by an internal account ID. You must register a working email and phone number, and choose a username. You decide whether other users see your username or a generated alias, and whether they see your photo. Your registered details stay on your account and are available to authorised staff. One-to-one and Trusted messages are removed from both participants' views at the end of a chat; limited safety logs are still retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest but are not end-to-end encrypted.

4. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens through your account and device. Keep your device secure. One person, one account; do not create accounts for others or sell, rent or transfer an account. We may require re-verification or additional information at any time to keep the service safe.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use nobody. lawfully and respectfully. You must not, and must not try to:

Create, share, request or solicit any child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAE/CSAM), or engage in any sexualised contact with, or grooming of, a minor. We have zero tolerance and report such conduct to the authorities.
Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or stalk anyone, or incite violence or self-harm.
Post sexual, pornographic or sexually explicit content, or solicit sexual services.
Post hate speech or content that attacks people based on religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender, disability or similar characteristics, or that offends public order, morals or religious values in the countries where we operate.
Impersonate any person, organisation or our staff, or claim to be a nobody. host.
Try to identify other users ("identity fishing"), publish their personal information, or pressure them to reveal names, photos, locations or contact details.
Send spam, advertising, scams, fraud, malware or unsolicited commercial messages.
Share content that is illegal under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes, or under the laws of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman or any other country where you use the service, including defamation, promotion of drugs, gambling, terrorism or extremism, and insults to the state, its symbols or religions.
Interfere with the service, scrape it, reverse engineer it, bypass moderation, or use bots or automated tools.

Report and block tools are free for every user. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We may, at our discretion and without notice, remove content, warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and preserve and disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect users. 6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, display, review and moderate your content to operate, secure and improve the service, to keep safety records, and to comply with law. We may remove any content at any time. You confirm you have the right to share what you post.

7. Plus subscription

Plus is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, currencies and taxes are shown in the store before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Payment is handled entirely by the store. We do not receive or store your card details.
Refunds are governed by the store's refund policy and are requested from Apple or Google, not from us, except where the law in your country requires otherwise.
We may change Plus features or prices with notice through the store. Termination of your account for breaching these Terms does not entitle you to a refund.

8. Paid Trusted sessions

Trusted sessions are sold one at a time and are not part of Plus. Each session is one hour of private chat with the host by text or voice messages, either live when the host is online or at a booked time.
The price is shown before you pay. Payment goes through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Cancel 12 hours or more before a booked session and one session credit returns to your account. Later cancellations and missed sessions are not returned.
If the host cancels or cannot start a paid session, you get a session credit or a refund through the store.
The host may end a session at once if you break these Terms or the session becomes unsafe. No credit or refund is due in that case.
Session credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and do not expire. A credit pays for a booked session only.
We do not promise that the host will be available at any particular time, or any particular result from a session.
A session is a chat only. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care or emergency help.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend, limit or terminate your access, or delete your account and block its email and phone number from signing up again, at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms or put anyone at risk, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service. If we do so because of a breach, no refund or credit is due for subscriptions, sessions or credits. Sections that by their nature should survive, including the content licence for retained safety logs, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

nobody. is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that other users will behave well or tell the truth. We do not control what other users say and we are not responsible for it, although we act on reports. You use the service and rely on anything said in it at your own risk. Trusted sessions are chat only; nothing said in them is professional advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not rely on nobody. in an emergency.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or damages arising from the conduct of other users. Our total liability for all claims together is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or AED 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs brought against us by others because of your content, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of the law.

13. Changes

We may change the service and these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect, and we may ask you to accept the new Terms before you continue. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.

14. Apple App Store terms

These terms apply if you downloaded nobody. from the Apple App Store.

Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content. These Terms do not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which prevail if they do.
Licence. We give you a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including use by other accounts associated with the purchaser through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where available. nobody. remains for adults 18 and over.
Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for maintenance and support of the app, as stated in these Terms or as required by law. Apple has no obligation at all to provide maintenance or support for the app.
Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by such a failure are our sole responsibility.
Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party about the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your possession or use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third party terms. You must comply with applicable third party terms when using the app, including your mobile data service agreement.
Third party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms. When you accept these Terms, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third party beneficiary.

15. General

We may transfer these Terms and the service to another person or company, including a company we set up to run nobody.; you may not transfer yours. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards, are the whole agreement between us. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version applies.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Dubai, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
