nobody. is a place to talk without being watched by the people around you. That only works if everyone here feels safe. These guidelines are short on purpose. They apply to The World, One-to-one and Trusted, and they are part of our Terms of Use.
Treat people the way you would want to be treated by someone who does not know you. Disagree without insults. If a conversation is not for you, leave it. Nobody owes you a reply.
Do not ask people for their real name, private photos, phone number, social media, workplace, school or where they live, and do not pressure them to meet. Do not share your own contact details either; once they are out, we cannot take them back. Your profile photo is your choice and must follow these guidelines. Do not try to guess, expose or "dox" who someone is. This is the rule that makes nobody. work.
nobody. is not a dating or sexting app. No sexual messages, no requests for sexual chat, no sexual role-play, no solicitation. Any sexual content involving, or directed at, a minor is reported to the authorities and results in a permanent ban. See our Child Safety Standards.
No attacks on people because of their religion, sect, nationality, tribe, ethnicity, gender, disability or similar. No threats, intimidation, blackmail or incitement to violence. No content that insults religions, states or their symbols in violation of the laws of the countries we operate in. Rooms are tied to countries and regions; respect the people in them.
You may talk about hard feelings here; that is partly what nobody. is for. But you must never encourage, instruct or dare anyone to harm themselves or others, and you must not glorify suicide or self-harm.
No advertising, links to buy things, crypto "opportunities", giveaways, phishing, begging, or copy-paste flooding. Do not pretend to be a nobody. host, moderator or staff member, or to be someone you are not.
Do not use nobody. for anything illegal where you or the other person live, including drugs, gambling, fraud, terrorism, extremism or defamation. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Reporting and blocking are free for everyone, including users without Plus.
Reports are reviewed by trained moderators under audit logging. We aim to review urgent safety reports (child safety, threats of violence, self-harm) within 24 hours. False or abusive reports are themselves a violation.
| Step | What it means |
|---|---|
| Warning | A notice in the app explaining which rule was broken. Minor or first-time issues. |
| Mute | You can read but not post in rooms or start one-to-one chats for a set time (hours to days). |
| Suspension | Your account is locked for a set period (days to weeks). Repeated or serious violations. |
| Ban | Your account is permanently closed and your device may be blocked from re-registering. Sexual content involving minors, credible threats, doxxing and severe or repeated abuse lead directly to a ban. |
We may skip steps depending on severity, remove content, cancel Trusted bookings, and preserve evidence for authorities where the law requires. Bans do not entitle you to a refund of Plus.
If you believe we made a mistake, tap Appeal on the notice in the app or email support@nobaady.com within 30 days with your account ID. A different moderator will review the decision and reply within 14 days. Decisions on child safety violations are final.
Our hosts follow the same rules plus a stricter code: they do not judge, they never ask for identifying details, they never give medical or legal advice, and they end a session if it becomes unsafe. If a host breaks these rules, report the session the same way.
Thank you for keeping nobody. a place where no one has to be anyone.
